Hellooooo it’s Yael. / it’s Dane Birthday!!!
Yesterday was pretty fun, we started off our day by waking up around 10:30ish and getting out of the tent. The only plan for the day was to leave at 5:30 to head to the USA vs England game, but until then we had nothing else planned so it was a pretty chill day. In the morning, we all read for a bit because of our summer reading assignment, and then started playing cards.
The Otto family joined us for most of the day as well. For lunch we made ramen and then we sat around and played cards until it was time to leave for the game. We fit 13 people into a 9 passenger van.
We had hospitality seats so we had free food, like pasta and chili, and drinks and even got a little present of either a travel tag or a small wallet when we arrived at the stadium. We had seats right at the midline of the field so we had the best view of the game possible.
Christen Press and Alex Morgan both scored with beautiful headers and the keeper had an amazing save during a PK and the game ended with a win for USA 2-1!! Once the game was over we drove back and played cards until we all decided it was time to go to bed.
