In Metal We Trust

Welcome back to the blog…. I’m Jack!

When I first woke up at noon we were in the August Hotel. The August Hotel in downtown Antwerp, Belgium. Then we met up with my Mom, Mary Rossington, Dale and Gary Rossington (aka Grandma and Grandpa), at their hotel in downtown Antwerp. We then had brunch at a Thai restaurant called Satay.

Getting to the show we followed behind the bus with a police escort. The Graspop metal meeting is a whole experience, we first went to get food backstage with a bunch of other metal artist that we had no idea who they were (Slayer).

Following this we went to get photos with Dale and Gary (aka gradma and grandpa). Then finally we went to the side stage where we saw the band go on stage and play their set.

During the show we walked under the stage and up to a viewing platform for some pictures. Then finally at the end of free bird we got on stage with the American flag as well as the Belgium flag, which they let us keep.

Finally we made the 2 hour drive to Luxembourg where were for 2 full days.
